Just picked this up over at the Drudge. I like Samual Jackson, at least his acting. Obviously I don’t know him personally so couldn’t say personally. But read the article. Heres the quote from it.

I have said and said it time and again, here, elsewhere, wherever I have had a voice. This is no longer about politics. I have been saying it since CANDIDATE Obama was vying for the presidency in 2008. I have been saying it and saying it.
Those that think this election year is about politics are going to get their asses handed to them.(Before or after, follow along) To include Ron Paul if he makes it that far.
The real issue will come to a head after Nov 7th. IF O makes it another 4 years, it may be some time before it really shows itself( I say within months of his swearing in, but not minute prior). IF he does NOT make it, we will see the beginnings of what is to come on Nov 7th. Seein how O will have 2 months between losing(if he does) and relinquishing power in January, Think about how much damage could be done, to include using riots as a reason to ‘nullify’ election results. I am not saying this is WHAT is going to happen, Only stating possible scenarios.
This is NOT about politics any longer. There are several months ‘tween now and then, and several other possibles coming at us from several other angles: Economic implosion induced by the EU going critical. Imminent war with Iran (followed by China, Russia, and God only knows who else) Oh, I could go on, but those are the ones I see in our immediate horizons .
Get your tribes in order, Keep at it. IF none of this pans out, we are still better off than those that call us ‘loons’. If it does pan out, whatever way that it’s going to pan out, we are far better off than those that do call us loons. The advantage of the pessimist: Rarely disappointed and usually pleasantly surprised.
So, those of us that are paying taxes, noting an increase in our tax liability, feeling the pinch everywhere we turn, keep in mind what Samuel Jackson recently stated. “I hope Obama gets scary in the next four years, ‘cuz he ain’t gotta worry about getting re-elected.”

It’s sad when a nationally recognized artist is summing up the feelings of Cincy ghettos in one paragraph. That feeling probably reciprocates to every hotspot Metro area in CONUS. I am sure of it in Cleveland and Toledo. And knowing that, I am sure it is the same in Detroit, and DC and,,,,,,
we are all going to be buddies in hell
and not even be dead yet
Considering the caliber of people I met at Bill’s Patcom, I can’t think of a better group of people to traverse hell with.

Find a place to get out of the way till all of it settles itself.

I am thinking that being mobile will be the only way to avoid anything coming at us. I don’t believe ‘holing up’ or ‘buggin in’ is going to be fail safe.
And of course, like the rest of my life, I am probably wrong.
That also is my plan James. Trick will be, to remain unseen by others. It is not a question of how much firepower one has. It will be a matter of not having to use that firepower.
Groups of individuals and stealth are key, the lone wolf will not make it far.
Given the need for stealth is why I advocate the use of archery equipment for hunting. I can hit consistently at 100 yds within a 10 inch circle, with a compound bow. Figure that this might make me
valuable to a group, or at the least help me to survive….

I would assume that one of the so called talkers might include me. Problem is not so much the willingness, more so the distance and the means financially. Time is most likely getting short, so most of us feel the need to put all extra toward preps.
I agree that local folks need get together tho.
I stated that premise to Bill when he first arranged the Patcom. That those that would like to talk about “specific” actions needed to be pulled aside and have the ‘rules’ explained. Discussing things like skills and toys is completely acceptable even if those details are not ‘socially inline’. Also why I made mention here in my blog that IF someone were to go about acting on information, they need to keep that to themselves, completely to themselves. The time is not now for us to form ‘companies’ or battalions so to speak. Small militia units for local reasons are fine. Incorporate them into working with the county sheriff and things fall right into what the Founders intended for our country. (of course that all flies in the face of current indoctrination and para-militarization of our police forces.)
Understood and accepted. I know that there are areas that are better than others for that function. I can only go by the area I am currently in, which is compromised beyond my wildest imaginings. That means mobility is going to be my key survival strategy. Believe me, this is not my ideal set up either. I would prefer the gulch over the road by far.
